Extended Shelf - Life System

Prolong the shelf life of fruits, vegetables, fish and other sensitive products with Modified Atmosphere Packaging

The Extended Shelf-Life System can be used from the farm to the grocery store.

Easily palletized, ESL boxes are great for maintaining freshness during transport.

Modified Atmosphere Packaging

The Extended Shelf-Life System is a hermetically sealed box with gas inlet ports for modifying the atmosphere within the container. The Extended Shelf-Life System exchanges or modifies the atmosphere inside the package, replacing air with a specific mixture of oxygen and/or carbon dioxide and/or nitrogen.

Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) prolongs the shelf-life of fresh and minimally processed produce making it ideal for long haul transport. Because MAP enables processors to extend shelf-life without using chemicals, it is also ideal for packaging organic produce.

PRODUCTS

The Extended Shelf-Life System is currently available in 3 versions:

The ESL SYSTEM-1, a 3.1 cubic foot (20" x 24" x 12") sealed box

The ESL SYSTEM-1 container is hermetically sealed with gas inlet ports for active modification of the atmosphere within the container. The Extended Shelf-Life System exchanges or modifies the atmosphere inside the package - replacing ambient air with a specific blend of oxygen, carbon dioxide and/or nitrogen.

The ESL SYSTEM- 2, a 3.1 cubic foot (20" x 24" x 12") membrane box

The ESL SYSTEM-2 membrane system can significantly extend the shelf life of your product while maintaining quality. The membrane container automatically optimizes the atmosphere inside the container for the product to be stored or shipped.

The ESL PALLET SYSTEM, a 53.3 cubic foot (40" x 48" x 40") bin
